Background:
Lyn is a protein tyrosine kinase which is important in cellular signaling. It contains an SH2 and SH3 domain and has been found to be cleaved after activation of caspases in apoptosis.
Other Names:
Tyrosine-protein kinase Lyn, Lck/Yes-related novel protein tyrosine kinase, V-yes-1 Yamaguchi sarcoma viral related oncogene homolog, p53Lyn, p56Lyn, LYN, JTK8
Target/Specificity:
This LYN antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 32-62 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human LYN.
Antigen Region:
32-62
Antigen Type: Synthetic Peptide
Gene Name: LYN
Gene ID: 4067
Primary Accession: P07948
NCBI Accession: NP_001104567.1;NP_002341.1
Format: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is prepared by Saturated Ammonium Sulfate (SAS) precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS.
