Protein Family: Glycan Binding Proteins, Receptors and Channels, Transporters
Pathway and Disease: Glycan Biosynthesis and Metabolism, Membrane Transport, Signaling Molecules and Interaction
Description:
Lymphatic vessel endothelial hyaluronic acid receptor 1 (LYVE-1) is a ligand-specific transporter trafficking between intracellular organelles and the plasma membrane. LYVE-1 is involved in autocrine regulation of cell growth mediated by growth regulators containing cell surface retention sequence binding (CRS). LYVE-1 acts as a hyaluronan transporter either by mediating its uptake for catabolism within lymphatic endothelial cells or its transport into the lumen of afferent lymphatic vessels for subsequent re-uptake and degradation in lymph nodes. LYVE-1 is localized to the plasma membrane and in vesicles near extranuclear membranes mainly in endothelial cells lining lymphatic vessels.
Alternate Names: LYVE-1, Lymphatic vessel endothelial hyaluronic acid receptor 1, Cell surface retention sequence-binding protein 1, CRSBP-1, Hyaluronic acid receptor, Extracellular link domain-containing protein 1, LYVE1, CRSBP1, HAR, XLKD1
Application Notes: E: 1:500-1:1,000; WB: 1:100-1:500; IHC: 1:100-1:500
Accession No.: Q9Y5Y7
Antigen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the N-term region of human LYVE-1.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4 with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by Protein-G affinity chromatography.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment.
