Description: Rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody for Mad detection. Tested with WB, Direct ELISA in Human;Mouse;Rat.
Protein Function:
Transcriptional repressor. MAD binds with MAX to form a sequence-specific DNA-binding protein complex which recognizes the core sequence 5'-CAC[GA]TG-3'. MAD thus antagonizes MYC transcriptional activity by competing for MAX.
Subcellular Localization: Nucleus.
Immunogen: E. coli-derived human Mad recombinant protein (Position: M1-L221).
Format: Lyophilized
Reconstitution: Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.
Contents: Each vial contains 4mg Trehalose, 0.9mg NaCl, 0.2mg Na2HPO4, 0.05mg NaN3.
Storage: At -20˚C; for one year. After reconstitution, at 4˚C; for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20˚C; for a longer time. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
