Background:
MAN2A2 catalyzes the first committed step in the biosynthesis of complex N-glycans. It controls conversion of high mannose to complex N-glycans; the final hydrolytic step in the N-glycan maturation pathway.
Other Names:
Alpha-mannosidase 2x, Alpha-mannosidase IIx, Man IIx, Mannosidase alpha class 2A member 2, Mannosyl-oligosaccharide 1,3-1,6-alpha-mannosidase, MAN2A2, MANA2X
Target/Specificity:
This MAN2A2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 767-796 amino acids from the Central region of human MAN2A2.
Antigen Region:
767-796
Antigen Type: Synthetic Peptide
Gene Name: MAN2A2
Gene ID: 4122
Primary Accession: P49641
NCBI Accession: NP_006113.2
Other Accession: NP_006113.2
Format: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
