Description: Mouse IgG monoclonal antibody for Mcm7, minichromosome maintenance complex component 7 (MCM7) detection. Tested with WB, ICC in Human. No cross reactivity with other proteins.Protein Name: DNA replication licensing factor MCM7
Protein Function:
MCM7: Acts as component of the MCM2-7 complex (MCM complex)which is the putative replicative helicase essential for 'once percell cycle' DNA replication initiation and elongation ineukaryotic cells. The active ATPase sites in the MCM2-7 ring areformed through the interaction surfaces of two neighboringsubunits such that a critical structure of a conserved argininefinger motif is provided in trans relative to the ATP-binding siteof the Walker A box of the adjacent subunit. The six ATPase activesites, however, are likely to contribute differentially to thecomplex helicase activity. Required for S-phase checkpointactivation upon UV-induced damage.
Clone Name(s):
DCS-141
Subcellular Localization: Nucleus .
Immunogen: Recombinant human Mcm7.
Calculated MW: 81063 MW
Purification: Ascites
Format: Lyophilized
Reconstitution: Add 1ml of PBS buffer will yield a concentration of 100ug/ml.
Contents: Mouse ascites fluid, 1.2% sodium acetate, 2mg BSA, with 0.01mg NaN3 as preservative.
Concentration (mg/ml): Add 1ml of PBS buffer will yield a concentration of 100ug/ml.
Storage: At -20˚C for one year. After reconstitution, at 4˚C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20˚C for a longer time.Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
