Protein Family: Cytokines
Pathway and Disease: Immune System, Signal Transduction, Signaling Molecules and Interaction
Alternate Names: C-C motif chemokine 7, small-inducible cytokin A7, monocyte chemoattractant protein 3, monocyte chemotactic protein 3, MCP-3, NC28, CCL7, MCP3, SCYA6, SCYA7Description:
Monocyte chemoattractant protein 3 (MCP-3), also known as C-C motif chemokine 7, CCL7 and SCYA7, is produced in a variety of tumor cells and has been shown to induce chemotaxis in monocytes, basophils, NK cells and dendrocytes. Recombinant mouse MCP-3 produced in E. coli is a non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 74 amino acids with a MW of 8,510 Da.
Source: E. coli. Endotoxin level as measured by LAL is <0.01ng/ug or <0.1EU/ug.
Applications: E, WB
Application Notes:
Mouse MCP-3 is fully biologically active when compared to standard. The specific activity as determined by the ability of Mouse MCP-3 to chemoattract Balb/C mouse spleen MNCs at 10-100ng/ml.
Accession No.: Q03366
MW: 8510 Da
Sequence:
QPDGPNASTC CYVKKQKIPK RNLKSYRRIT SSRCPWEAVI FKTKKGMEVC AEAHQKWVEE AIAYLDMKTP TPKP
Purity:
Purity > 98% as determined by RP-HPLC and reducing and non-reducing SDS-PAGE. Protein Content determined by UV spectroscopy at 280 nm and analysis by RP-HPLC calibrated against a known standard. Quantitation on SDS-PAGE against a known standard.
Format:
Each vial contains 10 ug of lyophilized protein. Reconstitute with 0.1 ml sterile deionized water for a final concentration of 0.1 mg/ml.
Storage: Store at -20°C. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment. Following reconstitution, store at -20°C. We recommend to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) for long term storage.
Pathway and Disease: Immune System, Signal Transduction, Signaling Molecules and Interaction
