Description:
Measles, also known as rubeola or morbilli, is an infection of the respiratory system caused by a virus, specifically a paramyxovirus of the genus Morbillivirus. Morbilliviruses, like other paramyxoviruses, are enveloped, single-stranded, negative-sense RNA viruses. Symptoms include fever, cough, runny nose, red eyes and a generalized, maculopapular, erythematous rash. The measles virus of fusion protein directs fusion of viral and cellular membranes leading to delivery of the nucleocapsid into the cytoplasm.
Alternate Names: Measles virus of fusion protein, Fusion glycoprotein F0, Fusion glycoprotein F2, Fusion glycoprotein F1
Application Notes: E: 1:500-1:1,000; WB: 1:100-1:500; IHC: 1:100-1:500
Accession No.: P41356
Antigen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the C-term region of Measles virus fusion protein.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4, 25% glycerol, 0.1 mg/ml BSA with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by Protein-A affinity chromatography.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment.
