Background:
MKX is a member of an Iroquois (IRX) family-related class of 'three-amino acid loop extension' (TALE) atypical homeobox proteins characterized by 3 additional amino acids in the loop region between helix I and helix II of the homeodomain (Anderson et al., 2006 [PubMed 16408284]).
Other Names:
Homeobox protein Mohawk, MKX, C10orf48, IRXL1
Target/Specificity:
This MKX antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 46-75 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human MKX.
Antigen Region:
46-75
Antigen Type: Synthetic Peptide
Gene Name: MKX
Gene ID: 283078
Primary Accession: Q8IYA7
NCBI Accession: NP_001229631.1;NP_775847.2
Other Accession: Q8BIA3; NP_775847.2
Format: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
