AC-BP7920a
Background:
MLK2 is a member of the serine/threonine kinase family. This kinase has been shown to activate MAPK8/JNK and MKK4/SEK1, and this kinase itself can bephoshorylated, and thus activated by JNK kinases. This kinase functions preferentially on the JNK signaling pathway, and is reported to be involved in nerve growth factor (NGF) induced neuronal apoptosis.
Other Names:
Mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase 10, Mixed lineage kinase 2, Protein kinase MST, MAP3K10, MLK2, MST
Target/Specificity:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP7920a was selected from the C-term region of human MLK2 . A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
Gene Name: MAP3K10
Gene ID: 4294
Primary Accession: Q02779
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
