AC-BP7424b
Background:
Hmx3 is a transcription factor involved in specification of neuronal cell types and which is required for inner ear and hypothalamus development. This protein binds to the 5'-CAAGTG-3' core sequence. It controls semicircular canal formation in the inner ear and is also required for hypothalamic/pituitary axis of the CNS.
Other Names:
Homeobox protein HMX3, Homeobox protein H6 family member 3, Homeobox protein Nkx-51, Hmx3, Nkx-51, Nkx5-1
Target/Specificity:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP7424b was selected from the C-term region of human Mouse Hmx3. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
Gene Name: Hmx3
Gene ID: 15373
Primary Accession: P42581
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
