Background:
STK24 encodes Serine/threonine-protein kinase 24 that functions upstream of mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling. Serine/threonine-protein kinase 24 is cleaved into two chains by caspases; the N-terminal fragment (MST3/N) translocates to the nucleus and promotes programmed cells death. There is a pseudogene for this gene on chromosome X. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
Research Area: Neuroscience
Synonyms: STK24, MST3, STK3, Serine/threonine-protein kinase 24, Mammalian STE20-like protein kinase 3, MST-3, STE20-like kinase MST3
Immunogen: The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human AMPK alpha around the phosphorylation site of Thr172. AA range:140-189
Purification: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen.
Formulation: Liquid in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide.
Concentration: 1 mg/ml
Storage:
-20°C for 1 year
