Background:
Core subunit of the mitochondrial membrane respiratory chain NADH dehydrogenase (Complex I) that is believed to belong to the minimal assembly required for catalysis. Complex I functions in the transfer of electrons from NADH to the respiratory chain. The immediate electron acceptor for the enzyme is believed to be ubiquinone (By similarity).
Other Names:
NADH-ubiquinone oxidoreductase chain 1, NADH dehydrogenase subunit 1, MT-ND1, MTND1, NADH1, ND1
Target/Specificity:
This MT-ND1 antibody is generated from a rabbit immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 34-68 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human MT-ND1.
Gene Name: MT-ND1
Gene ID: 4535
Primary Accession: P03886
Other Accession: O79874; P03887; O78747
Format: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
