Background:
This gene encodes a myotubularin-related protein that isatypical to most other members of the myotubularin-related proteinfamily because it has no dual-specificity phosphatase domain. Theencoded protein contains a double-helical motif similar to the SETinteraction domain, which is thought to have a role in the controlof cell proliferation. In mouse, a protein similar to the encodedprotein binds with MTMR7, and together they dephosphorylatephosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate and inositol 1,3-bisphosphate.
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
