Source:
A BALB/c mouse was immunized with neuraminidase-treated T-47D cells.
Fusion partner: X63-Ag8.653.
Specifications:
EBS-T-235 reacts with the protein core of MUC1, an apical cell side epithelial marker which is upregulated or switched on in the majority of carcinomas. The dominant epitope of EBS-T-235 is APDTRP, located in the VNTR domain of MUC1. Binding ofEBS-T-235 is enhanced after glycosylation of the DTR motif.
Species reactivity:
Positive: human.
Applications:
EBS-T-235 can be used for immunohistochemistry. In ELISA it is a good tracer antibody. It can also be used in fluorescence tests.
ELISA: +
Flow cytometry: +
Frozen sections: +
Immunofluorescence: +
Paraffin sections: Periodic acid
Positive control: MCF-7 or MDA-231 cells. Breast, colon, ovarian, endometrial carcinoma.
