Protein Family: Receptors and Channels
Pathway and Disease: Membrane Transport
Description:
Sodium-dependent phosphate transport protein 2B (NaPi-2b) is involved in actively transporting phosphate into cells via Na+ co-transport. NaPi-2b is the main phosphate transport protein in the intestinal brush border membrane, and has a role in the synthesis of surfactant in lungs' alveoli. Defects in NaPi-2b are a cause of pulmonary alveolar microlithiasis, a rare disease characterized by the deposition of calcium phosphate microliths throughout the lungs.
Alternate Names: SLC34A2, NaPi-2b, Sodium-dependent phosphate transport 2B, Sodium-phosphate transport protein 2B, Na(+)-dependent phosphate cotransporter 2B, Sodium/phosphate cotransporter 2B, Na(+)/Pi cotransporter 2B, NaPi3b, Solute carrier family 34 member 2
Application Notes: E: 1:500-1:1,000; WB: 1:100-1:500; IHC: 1:100-1:500
Accession No.: Q9DBP0
Antigen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the N-term region of mouse NaPi-2b.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4, 25% glycerol, 1 mg/ml BSA with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by Protein-A affinity chromatography.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment.
