Background:
NCAM2 is a cell adhesion molecule belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily. It is differentially expressed in the developing and mature olfactory epithelium and is involved in the guidance of developing olfactory sensory neurons to the glomeruli of the olfactory bulb.
Alternative Name:
Neural cell adhesion molecule 2, N-CAM-2, NCAM-2, NCAM2, NCAM21
Application Dilution: WB: 1:500~1:1000
Specificity: NCAM2 (L296) polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of NCAM2 protein.
Immunogen:
Synthetic peptide, corresponding to amino acids 271-320 of Human NCAM2.
MW: ~ 93 kDa
Swis Prot.: O15394
Purification & Purity:
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Format:
1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approx. pH 7.2.
Storage:
Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
