Background:
Accessory subunit of the mitochondrial membrane respiratory chain NADH dehydrogenase (Complex I), that is believed not to be involved in catalysis. Complex I functions in the transfer of electrons from NADH to the respiratory chain. The immediate electron acceptor for the enzyme is believed to be ubiquinone.

Other Names:
NADH dehydrogenase [ubiquinone] 1 alpha subcomplex subunit 1, Complex I-MWFE, CI-MWFE, NADH-ubiquinone oxidoreductase MWFE subunit, NDUFA1

Target/Specificity:
The synthetic peptide sequence is selected from aa 46-59 of HUMAN NDUFA1

Gene Name: NDUFA1

Gene ID: 4694
Primary Accession: O15239
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
