Background:
Accessory subunit of the mitochondrial membrane respiratory chain NADH dehydrogenase (Complex I), that is believed not to be involved in catalysis. Complex I functions in the transfer of electrons from NADH to the respiratory chain. The immediate electron acceptor for the enzyme is believed to be ubiquinone.
Alternative Name:
Neuroblastoma suppressor of tumorigenicity 1, DAN domain family member 1, Protein N03, Zinc finger protein DAN, NBL1, DAN, DAND1
Application Dilution: WB: 1:500~1:1000
Specificity: NDUFC1 pAb detects endogenous levels of NDUFC1 protein.
Immunogen:
Synthetic peptide, corresponding to amino acids 130-191 of Human DAN.
MW: ~ 9 kDa
Swis Prot.: O43677
Purification & Purity:
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Format:
1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approx. pH 7.3.
Storage:
Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
