Background:
nephrocystin 4(NPHP4) Homo sapiens This gene encodes a protein involved in renal tubular development and function. This protein interacts with nephrocystin, and belongs to a multifunctional complex that is localized to actin- and microtubule-based structures. Mutations in this gene are associated with nephronophthisis type 4, a renal disease, and with Senior-Loken syndrome type 4, a combination of nephronophthisis and retinitis pigmentosa. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Apr 2014],
Alternative Names:
NPHP4, KIAA0673, Nephrocystin-4, Nephroretinin
Immunogen: The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human NPHP4. AA range:877-926
Isotype: Rabbit
Purification: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen.
Concentration: 1 mg/ml
GeneID: NPHP4
Storage: -20°C/1 year
