Description: Rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody for Neuropeptide S detection. Tested with WB in Human;Mouse;Rat.
Protein Function:
Modulates arousal and anxiety. May play an important anorexigenic role (By similarity). Binds to its receptor NPSR1 with nanomolar affinity to increase intracellular calcium concentrations (PubMed:15312648, PubMed:16790440).
Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence of human Neuropeptide S (SFRNGVGTGMKKTSFQRAKS).
Format: Lyophilized
Reconstitution: Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.
Contents: Each vial contains 4mg Trehalose, 0.9mg NaCl, 0.2mg Na2HPO4, 0.05mg NaN3.
Storage: At -20˚C; for one year. After reconstitution, at 4˚C; for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20˚C; for a longer time. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
