Protein Family: Transcription Factors
Pathway and Disease: Cancers, Cell Growth and Death, Endocrine System, Immune System, Infectious Diseases, Signal Transduction
Description:
Nuclear factor NF-kappa-B p105/p50 subunit (NFKB1) is a pleiotropic transcription factor which is present in almost all cell types and is involved in many biological processes such as inflammation, immunity, differentiation, cell growth, tumorigenesis and apoptosis. NF-kappa-B is a homo- or heterodimeric complex formed by the Rel-like domain-containing proteins RelA/p65, RelB, NFKB1/p105, NFKB1/p50, Rel and NFKB2/p52. Homo- and heterodimers bind with different affinities at kappa-B sites in the DNA of their target genes.
Alternate Names: Nuclear factor NF-kappa-B p105/p50 subunit, DNA-binding factor KBF1, EBP-1, NFKB1
Application Notes: E: 1:500-1:1,000; WB: 1:100-1:500
Accession No.: P19838, NP_003989
Antigen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the C-term region of human NFKB p105/p50.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4 with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by Protein-G affinity chromatography.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment.
