Quantity: 50 µl
Background:
Nitric oxide is a reactive free radical which acts as a biologic mediator in several processes, including neurotransmission and antimicrobial and antitumoral activities. Nitric oxide is synthesized from L-arginine by nitric oxide synthases. Variations in this gene are associated with susceptibility to coronary spasm. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Synonyms:
NOS
Isotype: Rabbit Polyclonal
Immunogen:
Synthetic peptide from the C-terminus of rat cerebellar NO-synthase, conjugated to BSA
Form: Serum containing 0.1% sodium azide
Specificity:
The antiserum was raised against a synthetic peptide of rat cerebellar NOS, that shows no homology with other related proteins. Absorption with 10-100 ?g immunogen per ml diluted antiserum abolishes the staining.
Reactivity: human, rat, cat
Applications: Immunohistochemistry, suitable for frozen and paraffin sections
Working DIlution: 1:50 – 1:75 for immunofluorescence microscopy
Positive Control:
Frozen sections of rat colon
Storage: 2-8C for immediate use, or at -20C (aliquot)
