Description: Rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody for Transcription factor 7-like 1 (TCF7L1) detection. Tested with WB, IHC-P in human.
Protein Name: Transcription factor 7-like 1
Background:
Participates in the Wnt signaling pathway. Binds to DNA and acts as a repressor in the absence of CTNNB1, and as an activator in its presence. Necessary for the terminal differentiation of epidermal cells, the formation of keratohyalin granules and the development of the barrier function of the epidermis (By similarity). Down-regulates NQO1, leading to increased mitomycin c resistance. .
Other Names:
Transcription factor 7-like 1, HMG box transcription factor 3, TCF-3, TCF7L1, TCF3
Subcellular Localization: Nucleus.
Tissue Specificity: Detected in hair follicles and skin keratinocytes, and at lower levels in stomach epithelium. .
Gene ID: 83439
Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the C-terminus of human TCF7L1 (561-588aa SFPATLHAHQALPVLQAQPLSLVTKSAH), different from the related mouse sequence by one amino acid.
Calculated MW: 62631
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
Format: Lyophilized
Contents: Each vial contains 5mg BSA, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2mg Na2HPO4, 0.05 mg NaN3.
Concentration (mg/ml): Add 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 µg/ml.
Storage: At -20˚C for one year. After reconstitution, at 4˚C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20˚C for a longer time. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
