Background:
Nucleophosmin(NPM) is an important nuclear protein, which has many biological functions. It is mainly involved in ribosome assembly, cytoplasmic nuclear matter transport, centrosome replication and p53 function. Its regulatory role in the process of induced differentiation of tumor cells obviously depends on its expression and distribution changes, as well as the phase of oncogene and tumor suppressor gene proteins related to tumor cells interaction and protein modification.
