Description: Anti-NUP98 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody . Tested in WB, IHC, ICC/IF applications. This antibody reacts with Human.
Protein Function:
Plays a role in the nuclear pore complex (NPC) assembly and/or maintenance. Nup98 and Nup96 are involved in the bidirectional transport across the NPC. May anchor NUP153 and TPR to the NPC..
Other Names: Nuclear pore complex protein Nup98-Nup96, 3.4.21.-, Nuclear pore complex protein Nup98, 98 kDa nucleoporin, Nucleoporin Nup98, Nup98, Nuclear pore complex protein Nup96, 96 kDa nucleoporin, Nucleoporin Nup96, Nup96, NUP98 (HGNC:8068), ADAR2
Clone Name(s):
Clone: DFE-14
Subcellular Localization: Nucleus. Nucleus membrane; Peripheral membrane protein; Nucleoplasmic side. Nucleus, nuclear pore complex. Nup96 is localized to the nucleoplasmic side of the nuclear pore complex (NPC), at or near the nucleoplasmic basket. Dissociates from the dissasembled NPC structure early during prophase of mitosis. Colocalized with NUP153 and TPR to the nuclear basket of NPC. Detected in diffuse and discrete intranuclear foci. Remained localized to the nuclear membrane after poliovirus (PV) infection.
Gene ID: 4928
Immunogen: A synthesized peptide derived from human NUP98
Calculated MW: 197579
Purification: Affinity-chromatography
Format: Liquid
Contents: Rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, 0.4-0.5mg/ml BSA.
Concentration (mg/ml): Actual concentration vary by lot. Use suggested dilution ratio to decide dilution procedure.
Storage: Store at -20°C for one year. For short term storage and frequent use, store at 4°C for up to one month. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
