AC-BP2719a
Background:
Olfm1 shares extensive sequence similarity with the rat neuronal olfactomedin-related ER localized protein. While the exact function of this protein is not known, its abundant expression in brain suggests that it may have an essential role in nerve tissue. Several alternatively spliced transcripts encoding different isoforms have been found for the gene for Olfm1.
Other Names:
Noelin, Neuronal olfactomedin-related ER localized protein, Olfactomedin-1, OLFM1, NOE1, NOEL1
Target/Specificity:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP2719a was selected from the N-term region of human Olfm1. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
Gene Name: OLFM1
Gene ID: 10439
Primary Accession: Q99784
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
