Immunogen: A synthetic peptide from rat Olfactory Marker Protein (OMP) conjugated to blue carrier protein has been used as the antigen. The peptide is homologous with the corresponding sequence derived from OMP protein in mouse.

Application Dilution: Use at a dilution of 1:1000. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. For IHC, Zamboni' s or 4% PFA fixatives are recommended. For WB olfactory bulb lysate should be prepared in lysing buffer containing 1% Triton X-100 and 1% SDC (bot no SDS).

Purification: Whole serum

Formulation: Shipped as lyophilised. Reconstitute in 100 µl of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.

Storage Instruction: Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at-20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
