Background:
Staphylococcal nuclease domain-containing protein 1 also known as 100 kDa coactivator or Tudor domain-containing protein 11 (TDRD11) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SND1 gene. SND1 is a main component of RISC complex and plays an important role in miRNA function.
Synonyms:
TDRD11, p100, EBNA-2 co-activator (100kD), EBNA2 coactivator p100
Isotype: Guinea pig Polyclonal
Immunogen:
Synthetic duplicated C-terminus of human p100 protein conjugated to KLH
Form: Stabilized Serum
Specificity:
The antiserum localized p100 also in the ER and lipid droplets of milk secreting cells. In addition to the nuclear localization the protein was also detected in cytosolic fractions from lactating mammary gland, in storage lipid droplets from adipocytes and in ER from liver (see Keenan et al.).
Reactivity: human, bovine, rat, mouse, Drosophila
Applications: Immunohistochemistry on frozen sections, Immunofluorescence, Immunoblotting (western, ECL)
Working DIlution: 1:100-1:200 for immunohistochemistry; 1:2000 for immunoblotting (ECL method)
Positive Control:
Reactivity on Cultured Cells(tested so far): BMGE (bovine mammary epithelial cells)
Storage: 2-8C
