Protein Family: Receptors and Channels
Pathway and Disease: Signaling Molecules and Interaction
Description:
Pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide (PACAP) is a neuropeptide belonging to the vasoactive intestinal polypeptide/glucagon/secretin family. PACAP is widely distributed in the body and is involved in a variety of biological reactions. Several PACAP receptors (PACAPRs) have been identified. PACAPR1 is a receptor for PACAP-27 and PACAP-38. The activity of PACAPR1 is mediated by G-proteins which activate adenylyl cyclase.
Alternate Names: Pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide type I receptor, PACAP type I receptor, PACAP-R-1, Adcyap1r1, PACAP-R1, PACAPR1
Application Notes: E: 1:500-1:1,000; WB: 1:200-1:500; IHC: 1:200-1:500
Accession No.: P41586
Antigen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the center region of human PACAPR1.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4 with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by Protein-G affinity chromatography.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment.
