Protein Family: Receptors and Channels, Transporters
Pathway and Disease: Signaling Molecules and Interaction, Signal Transduction, Immune System, Cell Motility
Description:
PAR-1 (Proteinase-activated receptor 1) is a high affinity receptor for activated thrombin coupled to G proteins that stimulates phosphoinositide hydrolysis. PAR-1 plays a role in platelet activation and in vascular development. A proteolytic cleavage generates a new N-terminus that functions as a tethered ligand.
Alternate Names: PAR-1, Protease-activated receptor 1, Proteinase-activated receptor 1, Thrombin receptor, Coagulation factor II receptor, F2R, CF2R, PAR1, TR
Application Notes: E: 1:5000-1:20000; WB: 1:500-1:2000
Accession No.: P25116
Antigen: Purified recombinant fragment of human PAR1 expressed in E. coli.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 ml ascitic fluid with 0.03% sodium azide.
Storage:
Store at 4°C for short term use only. Store at -20°C for storage over 1 month. Product is guaranteed 6 months from the date of shipment.
