Protein Family: Receptors and Channels
Pathway and Disease: Signaling Molecules and Interaction
Description:
PAR-4 (Proteinase-activated receptor 4) is a receptor for activated thrombin or trypsin. PAR-4 is coupled to G proteins that stimulate phosphoinositide hydrolysis. PAR-4 plays a role in platelet activation. PAR-4 is widely expressed in tissues, but is not expressed in brain, kidney, spinal cord and peripheral blood leukocytes.
Alternate Names: PAR4, Proteinase-activated receptor 4, PAR-4, Thrombin receptor-like 3, Coagulation factor II receptor-like 3, F2RL3
Application Notes: WB: 1:500-1:2000; IHC: 1:200-1:1000
Accession No.: Q96RI0
Antigen: Purified recombinant fragment of PAR4(aa1-330) expressed in E. coli.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 ml ascitic fluid with 0.03% sodium azide.
Storage:
Store at 4°C for short term use only. Store at -20°C for storage over 1 month. Product is guaranteed 6 months from the date of shipment.
