Background:
This gene encodes a protein that is upregulated during apoptosis where it translocates rapidly from the cytoplasm to the nucleus. The encoded protein may be an important regulator of K(lysine) acetyltransferase 5 (a protein involved in transcription, DNA damage response and cell cycle control) by inhibiting its proteasome-dependent degradation. Pseudogenes have been identified on chromosomes 5 and 12
Research Area: Cancer, Cell Biology
Synonyms:
PDCD5, PDCD5, Programmed cell death protein 5, Protein TFAR19, TF 1 cell apoptosis related protein 19, TF-1 cell apoptosis-related protein 19, TFAR19, TFAR19 novel apoptosis-related
Immunogen: Fusion protein of human PDCD5
Swissprot: O14737
Gene Accession: BC015519
Purification Method: Antigen affinity purification
Buffer: PBS with 0.05% NaN3 and 40% Glycerol, pH7.4
Concentration: 1.86 mg/mL
Dilution: IHC 1:100-1:200, ELISA 1:5000-1:10000
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Avoid freeze / thaw cycles.
