Background:
Cofilin is a widely distributed intracellular actin-modulating protein that binds and depolymerizes filamentousF-actin and inhibits the polymerization of monomeric G-actin in a pH-dependent manner. It is involved in the translocation of actin-cofilin complex from cytoplasm to nucleus.
Other Names:
Cofilin-1, 18 kDa phosphoprotein, p18, Cofilin, non-muscle isoform, CFL1, CFL
Target/Specificity:
This Cofilin Antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to amino acid residues surrounding Ser3 of human Cofilin.
Antigen Type: Synthetic Peptide
Gene Name: CFL1
Gene ID: 1072
Primary Accession: P23528
NCBI Accession: NP_005498.1
Other Accession: NP_005498.1
Format: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
