Background:
Integrins are heterodimeric proteins made up of alpha and beta subunits. At least 18 alpha and 8 beta subunits have been described in mammals. Integrin family members are membrane receptors involved in cell adhesion and recognition in a variety of processes including embryogenesis, hemostasis, tissue repair, immune response and metastatic diffusion of tumor cells.

Other Names:
Integrin beta-1, Fibronectin receptor subunit beta, Glycoprotein IIa, GPIIA, VLA-4 subunit beta, CD29, ITGB1, FNRB, MDF2, MSK12

Target/Specificity:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP3602a was selected from the region of human Phospho-ITGB1-pY783. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.

Gene Name: ITGB1 (HGNC:6153)

Gene ID: 3688
Primary Accession: P05556
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
