Protein Family: Protein Kinases
Pathway and Disease: Signaling Molecules and Interaction, Signal Transduction
Description:
Threonine is one of the 20 naturally occurring amino acids. Kinases phosphorylate threonine to phosphothreonine which enters various biosynthetic pathways in the body. The antibody recognizes peptides and proteins phosphorylated on threonine residues. No cross-reaction with phosphotyrosine is observed.
Alternate Names: Phosphothreonine, pT, Phospho-threonine, pThr, Phospho-Thr, Phosphothr
Application Notes: E: 1:500-1:1,000; WB: 1:100-1:500; IP: 1:20-1:200
Antigen: KLH-conjugated phosphothreonine and Phosvitin.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.4 ml (0.25 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.0, 50% glycerol. Antibody was purified by immunogen-affinity chromatography with phosphothreonine on agarose followed by affinity adsorption with threonine on agarose.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment.
