Background:
This gene encodes an endoplasmic reticulum associatedprotein that is involved in glycosylphosphatidylinositol(GPI)-anchor biosynthesis. The GPI anchor is a glycolipid found onmany blood cells and which serves to anchor proteins to the cellsurface. The protein encoded by this gene is a subunit of the GPIN-acetylglucosaminyl (GlcNAc) transferase that transfers GlcNAc tophosphatidylinositol (PI) on the cytoplasmic side of theendoplasmic reticulum.

Other Names:
Phosphatidylinositol N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase subunit H, Phosphatidylinositol-glycan biosynthesis class H protein, PIG-H, PIGH

Gene Name: PIGH (HGNC:8964)

Gene ID: 5283
Primary Accession: Q14442
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
