Background:
Placental Alkaline Phosphatase(PLAP) can be expressed as carcinoembryonic antigen in some tumors of reproductive system, gastrointestinal tract and lung cancer. This antibody is mainly used to label the cells of placental trophoblastic tumor, ovarian germ cell tumor and testicular seminoma.
