Background:
POLR1D is a DNA-dependent RNA polymerase catalyzes the transcription of DNA into RNA using the four ribonucleoside triphosphates as substrates. Common core component of RNA polymerases I and III which synthesize ribosomal RNA recursors and small RNAs, such as 5S rRNA and tRNAs, respectively.

Other Names:
DNA-directed RNA polymerases I and III subunit RPAC2, RNA polymerases I and III subunit AC2, AC19, DNA-directed RNA polymerase I subunit D, RNA polymerase I 16 kDa subunit, RPA16, RPC16, hRPA19, POLR1D

Target/Specificity:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP9105b was selected from the C-term region of human POLR1D. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
Primary Accession: Q9Y2S0
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
