Potato Infusion Agar is used for the cultivation of Brucella abortus. Enzymatic Digest of Animal Tissue and Beef Extract provide nitrogenous sources, while Dextrose and Potato Infusion supply carbohydrates. Sodium Chloride maintains the osmotic balance. Agar is the gelifying agent.
