Background:
Dietary fat absorption from the small intestine isfacilitated by acyl-CoA:monoacylglycerol transferase (MOGAT; EC2.3.1.22) and acyl-CoA:diacylglycerol acyltransferase (DGAT; seeMIM 604900) activities. MOGAT catalyzes the joining ofmonoacylglycerol and fatty acyl-CoAs to form diacylglycerol (Yenand Farese, 2003 [PubMed 12621063]).
Other Names:
Serine/threonine-protein phosphatase 5, PP5, Protein phosphatase T, PP-T, PPT, PPP5C, PPP5
Gene Name: PPP5C
Gene ID: 5536
Primary Accession: P53041
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
