Progesterone test kit

Use: Used to detect the concentration of progesterone in samples such as serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatant.Specificity: The kit uses enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Biotin-labeled progesterone and purified anti-progesterone antibodies are used to coat microplates. In the competitive inhibition reaction, a certain amount of solid-phase antibodies inhibit the competitive reaction with biotin-labeled progesterone and non-labeled antigens (calibrators or specimens). The binding amount of the antibody and biotin-labeled progesterone is inhibited by the amount of non-labeled antigen. The more non-labeled antigen, the less the antibody and biotin-labeled progesterone bind, and vice versa. After the reaction is balanced, a solid-phase antibody-biotinylated progesterone is formed, and then enzyme-labeled avidin is added to form a solid-phase antibody-biotinylated progesterone-enzyme-avidin complex. After adding substrate for color development, the absorbance (OD value) is measured at a wavelength of 450nm using an enzyme reader. As the concentration of progesterone increases, the OD value gradually decreases and shows a good linear relationship. This kit has the characteristics of high sensitivity, strong specificity, good repeatability, simple operation and rapidity, and has reliable detection performance for the decrease or increase of progesterone in samples.
