Specificity: Mab 1G4 is directed to different antigenic determinants of human proinsulin. It does not crossreact with human-, bovine-, porcine insulin, bovine- and porcine proinsulin and human C-peptide.

Applications: Suitable for detection of human proinsulin in two-site EIA (Enzyme immunoassay) to use Mab 1G4 for coating and mixture of Anti- insulin/proinsulin, Mab D6C4 (Cat.05-50034) and Mab D3E7 (Cat:05-50035) for labeling. Sensitivity of such assay is less than 0.2 ng/ml. Suitable for Immunohistochemistry on frozen sections.
