Prolactin-Releasing Peptide (PrRP) is expressed in the pituitary gland to stimulates prolactin (PRL) release and to regulate expression of prolactin through its receptor GPR10. Prolactin is involved in the development of the mammary glands and the promotion of milk synthesis in mammals.
