AC-BP7730b
Background:
PKC-D2 belongs to the protein kinase D (PKD) family of serine/threonine protein kinases. This kinase can be activated by phorbol esters as well as by gastrin via the cholecystokinin B receptor (CCKBR) in gastric cancer cells. It can bind to diacylglycerol (DAG) in the trans-Golgi network (TGN) and may regulate basolateral membrane protein exit from TGN.
Other Names:
Serine/threonine-protein kinase D2, nPKC-D2, PRKD2, PKD2
Target/Specificity:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP7730b was selected from the C-term region of human PKC-D2 . A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
Gene Name: PRKD2
Gene ID: 25865
Primary Accession: Q9BZL6
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
