Background:
Chromosome 14 contains about 700 genes and 106 million base pairs and makes up about 3.5% of human cellular DNA. Chromosome 14 encodesthe presinilin 1 (PSEN1) gene, which is one of the three key genes associated with the development of Alzheimer’s disease. The SERPINA1 gene islocated on chromosome 14 and when defective leadsto the genetic disorder α1-antitrypsin deficiency. This disorder is characterized bysevere lung complications and liver dysfunction. Notably, the immunoglobulin heavychain locusisfoundon chromosome 14 and has been identified as a fusion with the chromosome 19 encoded protein Bcl-3 in the translocationsfound in a variety of B cellmalignancies. The PSMC1 gene product has been provisionally designated PSMC1 pending furthercharacterization.
Alternative Name:
26S protease regulatory subunit 4, P26s4, 26S proteasome AAA-ATPase subunit RPT2, Proteasome 26S subunit ATPase 1, PSMC1
Application Dilution: WB: 1:500~1:2000
Specificity: PSMC1 polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of PSMC1 protein.
Immunogen:
Recombinant full length Human PSMC1.
MW: ~ 49 kDa
Swis Prot.: P62191
Purification & Purity:
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Format:
1mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% Sodium Azide, 50% Glycerol.
Storage:
Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
