AC-BP6998a
Background:
Guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) for RAP1A, RAP1B and RAP2A small GTPases that is activated by binding cAMP. It Seems not to activate RAB3A. It is involved in cAMP-dependent, PKA-independent exocytosis through interaction with RIMS2.
Other Names:
Rap guanine nucleotide exchange factor 4, Exchange factor directly activated by cAMP 2, Exchange protein directly activated by cAMP 2, EPAC 2, cAMP-regulated guanine nucleotide exchange factor II, cAMP-GEFII, RAPGEF4, CGEF2, EPAC2
Target/Specificity:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP6998a was selected from the N-term region of human RAPGEF4. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
Gene Name: RAPGEF4
Gene ID: 11069
Primary Accession: Q8WZA2
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
