The RARA Break Apart FISH Probe localizes to the RARA gene allowing confirmation of rearrangements of the gene.
The RARA gene has been implicated in regulation of development, differentiation, apoptosis, granulopoeisis, and transcription of clock genes. Translocations between this locus and several other loci have been associated with acute promyelocytic leukemia.
Empire Genomics has developed a RARA Break Apart FISH Probe which can be used to detect a rearrangement of the RARA gene. Our probes come labeled in orange and green.
