Background:
RCHY1 protein has ubiquitin-protein ligase activity. This protein binds with p53 and promotes the ubiquitin-mediated proteosomal degradation of p53. Gene of RCHY1 is oncogenic because loss of p53 function contributes directly to malignant tumor development.

Other Names:
RING finger and CHY zinc finger domain-containing protein 1, 632-, Androgen receptor N-terminal-interacting protein, CH-rich-interacting match with PLAG1, E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase Pirh2, RING finger protein 199, Zinc finger protein 363, p53-induced RING-H2 protein, hPirh2, RCHY1, ARNIP, CHIMP, PIRH2, RNF199, ZNF363

Target/Specificity:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP2796a was selected from the N-term region of human RCHY1. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.

Gene Name: RCHY1

Gene ID: 25898
Primary Accession: Q96PM5
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
