Description
TPX, also known as lipid hydroperoxide peroxidase, is a member of the peroxiredoxin family of antioxidant enzymes, which reduce hydrogen peroxide and alkyl hydroperoxides. This protein may play an important role in thioredoxin peroxidase activity. Recombinant E. coli TPX protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.Alternative Names
Thiol peroxidase, Peroxiredoxin tpx , Scavengase p20, Thioredoxin peroxidase, Thioredoxin-dependent peroxiredoxin, yzzJConcentration
1mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay)Concentration
Liquid in. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 10% glycerol, 2mM DTT, 0.1M NaCl.Storage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
