Description
NT5E is a plasma membrane protein that catalyzes the conversion of extracellular nucleotides to membrane-permeable nucleosides. This protein is used as a determinant of lymphocyte differentiation. Defects in this gene can lead to the calcification of joints and arteries. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. Recombinant human NT5E protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.Alternative Names
CD73, 5-NT, 5'-nucleotidase, 5'-nucleotidase ecto, AI447961, E5NT, ecto, eN, eNT, NT, NT5, Nt5e, NTE, 2210401F01RikConcentration
0.25mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay)Concentration
Liquid in. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 0.15M NaCl, 10% glycerol, 1mM DTTStorage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
